TISS Eligibility Qualification 2019-20 Masters Degree (IS,M.A/M.SC)

Only those students who have qualified from foreign Universities orBoards of Higher Education, recognised as equivalent by the Associationof Indian Universities (AIU) are eligible for admission in Master’s DegreeProgrammes at TISS. The candidates can refer to the qualificationsrequired for eligibility for admission to the different programmes givenbelow.Eligibility Requirements

(a) A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or itsequivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 yearbridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling themandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from arecognised university, in any discipline.OR

(b) Candidates who will complete all the requirements of their final yearBachelor’s Degree examinations by Saturday, June 9, 2012, are alsoeligible to apply to all the programmes (except the four programmesoffered by the School of Health Systems Studies) provided they havesuccessfully completed their first and second years, if the degreecourse is of 3 years; and the first, second and third years, if the degreecourse is of 4 years. Candidates applying for the M.A.

Education(Elementary) programme should complete all the requirements byMay 11, 2012. In such cases, admission to any of the Master’s DegreeProgrammes of the Institute will be provisional. If a provisionallyadmitted student fails in the final year examination, the offer ofprovisional admission automatically stands cancelled.

(c) Candidates applying for the Master of Public Health Policy,Economics and Finance; and Master of Public Health in SocialEpidemiology Programmes should have a (i) Master’s degree in anydiscipline, or (ii) Bachelor’s degree in medicine, paramedical and
