OU PhD Eligibility | Qualification – There is few criteria which has been set by Osmania University for the admission in PhD 2019-20 is as follows a) A candidate is eligible for registration/admission to Ph.D. course in a subject, if he/she i) holds a Mater’s degree in the concerned subject or in an allied subject (approved by Osmania University) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. In case of students belonging to SC and ST category, the aggregate shall be 50% marks AND ii) holds M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject or in an allied subject(approved by Osmania University) OR iii) is qualified in the UGCCSIR/NET GATE examination or SLET examination of Government of Andhra Pradesh, or awarded a Research Fellowship by UGC/CSIR/Government Organisation. OR iv) has published, as the first author, at least two research papers in the broad area of research in standard journals recognized by the University.
