IB(Intelligence Bureau) ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer)Exam Pattern:
- Total time = 100 min (1hr and 40 min)
- Objective paper: 70 min
- Subjective paper: 30 min (Precis, comprehension & essay writing)
Written examination consisting of objective type (multiple choice questions) on

Part I
- Section I -General awareness, ,
- Section II -English language
- Section I – Reasoning
- Section I – Mathematical aptitude
Part II- Descriptive type
- Examination in English language (Essay and Precis writing).
- Both the examinations will be held in a single session/sitting.
Selected Candidates in the written test will be interviewed subsequently. Selection process for IB ACIO Exam consist of written exam followed by Interview.
