2. Assistant Engineer (Elec.)	Should have process / acquired BE of a recognized University or AMIE (India) qualification in Electrical & Electronics.
3. Assistant Engineer Civil	Should have process/ acquired BE in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or pass in AMIE sections A & B (Civil).
4. Assistant Accounts Officer	Should have process/ acquired M.Com or MBA (Finance) of a recognized University or pass in ICWA or CA.
5. Junior Engineer (Elec.)	Should have process/ acquired Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka.
6. Junior Engineer (Civil)	Should have process/ acquired Diploma Civil Engineering of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka.
7. Assistant	Should have process/ acquired Bachelors Degree of recognized University in the State of Karnataka.
8. Junior Assistant	Should have PUC qualification or Diploma in Accountancy and Auditing or in Accountancy and Costing awarded by the State Council of Vocational Education. Government of Karnataka.

>> AGE LIMIT :

The candidates should have aitained the age of I 8 Years as on the last date fixed ti of application and shall not be more than

18 years to 35 years For General Merit

18 years to 38 years For category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates

18 years to 40 years For SC/ ST & category I candidates

>> AGE RELAXATION :

1. For Ex-military Personnel (Ex-MP), the above age limit is relaxable by 3 Years pins the number of years of service rendered by them in the Aimed Forces of the Union of India not exceeding 45 Years of age on the last date prcseribed for receiving the application

2. Tn respect of m-service employees, the upper age limit is relaxable by the number of years of continuous service rendered in Corporation, subject to a maximum of 7 years.

3. The candidates who were appointed directly on contract basis (not engaged through an Agency) by KPTCLIESCOMs and other Public Sector Electricity Utilities in the areas of Transmission / Distribution and with work experience of minimum 5 years and above, the age limit shall be relaxed by Five (5) years over the age limit prescribed for applicants for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer & Junior engineer only.
