Madhya Pradesh Dental and Medical Admission Test acronym as MP DMAT entrance exam is taken for the admission to all the Dental and Medical(MBBS) colleges in Madhya Pradesh by
the candidates of +2 of Medical stream.

Eligibility MP DMAT entrance exam test

  • Educational Qualification:-

The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary
Education M.P.
OR
He should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects independently and have
secured at least minimum 50% marks combined together in these subject and must have
passed in English also from CBSE or any other recognized board.
OR
He must have attained any other qualification recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental
Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to MBBS / BDS course.

Note:- The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent
in March/April of the year are too eligible to appear for DMAT 2009 provided they fulfill the
other eligibility conditions.

Candidates who attained the requisite percentage of marks after revaluation etc. are also
eligible for taking admission. However such revelation should be brought to the notice of
admission committee within the specified time. Candidates have to furnish all proofs before the
publication of merit list.

Age:-
Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st December of the year of taking admission.

Ccontents of MP DMAT entrance examination
This Medical Entrance Exam contains general syllabus of relevant subjects from classes 11th
and 12th under the 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent
examination of the State Education Board.

Question pattern of the MP DMAT entrance exam
The competitive written examination will be of 3 hours duration and will have one paper
comprising of 200 objective type questions in the following subjects.

Time
MP DMAT entrance test is usually conducted in the first week of July of every year.

Fees
Application Forms along with prospectus for Entrance Examination will be available at the
selected branches of State Bank of India on payment of Rs. 750/- (Rs. Seven hundred Fifty
Only) through cash.

Application Forms are also available at all participating colleges/ Association Office on payment
of Rs. 750/- (Rs. Seven hundred Fifty Only) through cash/ demand draft in favour of APDMC
payable either at State bank of India, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal (Branch Code. 5798) or Central
Bank of India, Arera Hills, Bhopal (Branch Code. 3312).

Application Forms can also be obtained from the Association Office/Participating Colleges by
post by remitting a DD of Rs. 850/- (including postal charges).
