Eligibility for MBBS/BDS courses:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.As per the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI) norms the candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates and OBC Candidates of Karnataka) taken together in PCB.Aspiring candidates must secure at least 50% marks( 40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in PCB in the Common Entrance Test.Age:He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December (31/12/2010) of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.Eligibility for B.E:

General Merit Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying Examination recognized by State / Central Government with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks ( 40% in case of SC/ST candidates and OBC Candidates of Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually.

COMEDK UGET Syllabus Question Pattern 2020

Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

English as one of the language of study is compulsory.

There is no minimum mark fixed for entrance test. Hence all candidates who have taken the entrance test will find a place in the merit list as per their performance.

B. Arch

A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka).

Aspiring candidate should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 for both general merit and category candidates.

COMEDK will not be conducting any Common Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B.Arch (Architecture Course) as per existing rules.

TIME

This Medical PG Entrance Exam is held in first or second week of May.

Syllabus

COMEDK UGET will consist of questions from the subject of the level of +2 or equivalent.

Pattern of COMEDK UGET

COMEDK UGET consists of:

One Combined paper for Physics and Chemistry that will be compulsory for all the candidates appearing for COMEDK UGET.

There will be a total of 120 questions: 60 questions in Physics and 60 questions in Chemistry. The test duration for combined paper is 120 minutes, and is compulsory for all candidates seeking admissions to M.B.B.S., BDS and B.E courses.

One paper of Mathematics compulsory for the candidates aspiring for B.E.

One paper of Biology compulsory for the candidates aspiring for MBBS/BDS.

Both these papers will contain 60 questions with duration of 60 minutes.

Candidates are free to choose any one or both the subjects.

Note:- Candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet (Optical Mark Reader). Each correct answer is awarded one mark.

Important:- There will be no negative marking.

However, in the event of a tie in score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted. In addition, if required, other methods may be adapted to break ties.

Result

Answers Keys and Test scores of all the candidates will be published on the official website.

The test results will be published in two stages:

  • Test Score Publication
  • Final Merit / Rank List Publication

The Final Merit / Rank List will be sent to the regulatory authorities. Individual rank card will be sent to eligible candidates only. The same will also be made available at the COMEDK website (http://www.comedk.org)
