The University of Kota was established in the year 2003 in a culturally rich heritage city Kota situated on the bank of holy river Chambal. The University came into existence through enactment of Government of Rajasthan vide order No. F.21 (2)Edu-4/2003 dated 29-0902003 under the provision of Section-4(1) AND 50(1) of the University of Kota, Kota Act, 2003.
University of Kota Admission Selection Procedure 2022:
- Those who have qualified UGC / CSIR NET (JRF), ICSSR, ICPR examination / SET / GATE (with a valid score ) / Teacher Research Fellowship holder or
- A candidate who has passed M Phil programme through entrance examination and course work as per the UGC from any recognized university or
- A permanent university I college teacher who is appointed by RPSC I duly constituted selection committee in case of teacher from an affiliated college the appointment must be approved by the university
- The entrance test will be conducted only for Ph.D programme in Computer Science
