Eligibility JECA

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at the (10+2) or at the Bachelor’s level are eligible to take this test.

All those candidates who are appearing at the Bachelor’s degree examination in respective year and fulfil the aforementioned criteria are also eligible but they will have to furnish the proof of having passed the Bachelor’s degree examination at the time of admission to the respective institutes.

Content:

JECA is based on the following topics:-

1. Reasoning

2. Problem Solving

3. Quantitative Comparison

4. Discrete Quantitative Analysis

5. Data Interpretation.

Pattern of the Exam-

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (JECA) is multiple-choice based entrance exam, with negative marking for wrong answers. This two and half hour paper consists of two parts:-

Part – I: Aptitude Test (100 marks) 1 hour

Part – II: Mathematics (100 marks) 1-1/2 hours

Time-

This exam is normally held in the month of June every year.
