Kerala B.Ed Syllabus University of Kerala B.Ed Entrance 2020.
The University of Kerala has established ten Centres for Teacher Education to offer B.Ed. course under its direct control and supervision. The Centres were formed as part of the policy of the University to raise the standards of education and to accommodate the large number of qualified candidates who seek admission to B.Ed. courses. Most of these candidates had ealier been compelled to seek admission in B.Ed colleges of other states. The Centres of Teacher Education have been a real relief to such students who were forced to pay hefty amounts as fees in other States.
The Centres are located at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Adoor, Alappuzha, Olathanni, Thamarakulam, Kulakkada, Kayamkulam, Anchal and Kazhakkuttom. The Government and Local bodies have extended all help to the University in running these Centres. The centres offer a wide variety of subjects of study.
Eligibility
To find admission in University of Kerala, the candidate needs to be Indian citizen. There is no higher limit for B. Ed. Course. Candidate needs to have B. A., B. Sc., or equivalent degree from any recognized University within India with at least 50% marks. 3% concession is offered in marks for candidates from socially as well as educationally backward communities. Candidate needs to be physically fit as well as it’s included in the eligibility criteria.
Admission Procedure
To get the admission to the B.Ed course in University of Kerala, the candidate have to clear the entrance test, organized by Kerala University. The admission procedure is performed by considering individual’s show in the entrance examination. The application forms and prospectus for admissions are obtainable on line. The forms are available at different collages of the University as well.
