GATE Scorecard 2019-20 Download How to calculate GATE Scorecard?

GATE Scorecard 2019-20 Download the admission of M-Tech in IISc Bengaluru IIT Bombay IIT Delhi IIT Guwahati IIT Kanpur IIT Kharagpur IIT Madras IIT Roorkee.

Scorecard will be issued to all the candidates for a paper whose marks are equal to or above the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PD candidates in that paper. There is no provision for issue of Additional GATE scorecard.

The GATE 2019-20 Committee has the authority to decide the qualifying score for each GATE paper. In case any claim or dispute arises in respect of GATE 2019-20, it is hereby made absolutely clear that the Courts and Tribunals in New Delhi and New Delhi alone shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain and settle any such dispute or claim.

 The GATE Score is calculated using the following formula

m = marks obtained by the candidatt

a = average of marks of all candidates who appeared in the paper mentioned on this scorecard in GATE 2012. with all marks less than zero, convened to zero.

s = standard deviation of marks of all candidates who appeared in the paper mentioned on this scorecard in GATE 2012, with all marks less than zero, convened to zero.

ag = average of marks of all candidates who appeared across all papers in years 2009-20 12, with all marks less than zero, convened to zero.

s6= standard deviation of marks of all candidates who appeared across all papers in years 2009-2012, with all marks less than zero, convened to zero.

The GATE score is set to zero if the value calculated by the above formula is less than zero and the GATE score is set to 1000 if the value calculated by the above formula is more than  1000.

Note: Qualifying in GATE does not guarantee either admission to postgraduate programme or scholarship,assistant ship.
